A Loving Safe Environment for your Child

At Sunrise we take a positive approach to discipline. Children will be guided to treat each other and adults with self-control and kindness. Staff will help children learn appropriate behavior by setting good examples. We feel this will encourage children’s interaction with one another, facilitate classroom involvement, and foster good behavior.

Balanced Curriculum: Engaging Program for Ages 18 Months to 3 Years

As part of the curriculum, we gather information about each child’s developmental abilities and evaluate progress.The goal of this evaluation is to modify and adjust what we are doing in the classroom in order to deliver the best individualized instruction for each child. This evaluation is communicated to families periodically during the school year using various formal and informal tools, forms, and resources.

Healthy Nutritious Meals for Growing Minds

All meals and/or snacks that are provided by the center shall be planned and served to meet the child's nutritional requirements as recommended by the USDA CACFP in proportion to the amount of time the child is in the center each day with no more than four hours between food services.
